Pure Michigan Funding Faces Cuts in 2011 Budget: 

The Michigan Senate has started working on the Pure Michigan Budget for 2011. Early projections show a cut from the 15 million this year to
5.4 million in 2011.  This comes after testimony at hearings and studies which show that for every $1 invested it returns at least $2.23 - to as much as $5.34 in new sales tax revenues.  Without this promotional campaign those revenues would not be received.

What Can You Do?

Contact your State Senator using the link below and tell them "You support The Pure Michigan Campaign and that they should keep the funding at least at the same 15 million level they are using in 2010."
