Economic Development
The Traverse Bay Economic Development Corporation (Traverse Bay EDC) serves as the economic division of the Chamber and exists to promote and bolster ourregional economy. The Traverse Bay EDC is a voice of encouragment in the expansion of existing industry, attracting new businesses to the region, and assisting communities with job-producing and tax-base-broadening projects.

2006 Economic Summit
The Economic Summit on October 12th was an energetic, thought provoking discussion on recasting positive, forward thinking economic development strategies for the Grand Traverse region.  These strategies will be addressed through the broader agenda of the Traverse Bay EDC and its many stakeholder partners in the public and private sectors as we move ahead on issues that will help shape the economic prospects and drivers of real and sustainable economic growth for our region.
