Job Opening Program Coordinator for the Fresh Food Partnership March 26, 2008
Announcement The Land Information Access Association (LIAA) is looking for someone to fill a part-time position as Program Coordinator for the Fresh Food Partnership. We hope to fill this position within one month – in time to start a new season of purchasing locally grown produce for delivery to people in need through the pantries, shelters and community meals programs of our five-county area.
Qualifications The Program Coordinator must be a highly articulate person with excellent communication skills and a relevant B.A. or B.S. degree. This person will have relevant experience in both fund raising and program management. Additionally, the Program Coordinator will be quite comfortable with computer technology, including experience with word processors, spreadsheets, and presentation software. Finally, this person will be a “self-starter” – ready, willing and able to seek out new funding to advance the missions of the Fresh Food Partnership and the LIAA.
Hours & Payment We seek someone willing to work a flexible schedule on a part-time basis for about 24 hours a week. However, this job could be increased to a full-time position if grant-writing and fund raising efforts are successful. The pay range will be $12 - $16/hour (with limited benefits), based on education and experience.
How to Apply Applications must be received by Friday, April 11th. Applicants should send a cover letter, resume and three references to: Kim McNeil, Financial Administrator Land Information Access Association 324 Munson Avenue Traverse City, MI 49686 |
