Kalkaska Chamber
A Joint Venture for Business
Greater Kalkaska Chamber of Commerce
The Greater Kalkaska Chamber of Commerce is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Traverse Area Chamber of Commerce. The business community from Kalkaska looks to the Traverse Area Chamber to maximize its economic strengths and to work with area employers to help them grow and prosper. All members of the Kalkaska Chamber are automatically members of the Traverse Area Chamber and have access to its counsel, education, services and membership benefits. The Chamber works to improve the quality of life for its members and the community by promoting the economic, civil, commerical, cultural, industrial and educational interests of the Kalkaska Area, as well as helping to protect and maintain Kalkaska's natural resources.
Located just 27 miles east of Traverse City, the Greater Kalkaska Area encompasses 561 square miles of natural beauty. Home to the National Trout Festival, Winterfest, the newly expanded KART trail (which connects to Traverse City's TART trail), three excellent school systems, the Kaliseum, two industrial parks and a bustling business district along three major highways, and acres of beautiful camping and outdoor recreation grounds, Kalkaska is ripe with potential for business and industry.
