Young Professionals (TCYP)

Want a Free YP Membership?

Your membership in the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce's Young Professionals program offers you great opportunities for networking, professional development, fun, and community involvement.
 
Now, you can earn a free one-year membership in Young Professionals (a $50 value) for just bringing in a new member to the Chamber! When you are out around the Traverse City area, ask businesses if they are a member of the Chamber, if they are not, have them sign up online, by phone, or at the Chamber.
 
Once the new member indicates that you referred them to the Chamber, you will receive a free one-year membership in the Young Professionals program.

It is an easy two-step process:

Step 1 - Be sure the new Chamber member states: Referred by YP Participant: (Your Name) on their membership application.
 
Step 2 - Save money - once their membership application and payment is received by the Chamber, we will provide you with a complimentary one-year participation fee in the Chamber's YP Program.

Traverse City Young Professionals (TCYP) was created by the Chamber to empower and activate young professionals ages 21-40 in the Grand Traverse region by providing a dynamic environment for networking and social and professional development. The program seeks to address the three main priorities young professionals have identified as most important to them when choosing a place to live and work:

  • Social and recreational opportunities
  • Personal and professional development
  • Connection and engagement with the community

TCYP offers a multitude of programs, events and services designed to connect young professionals with one another, further them in their career, and prepare them for community and political leadership.
