New Sleep Center Opens in Traverse
Life Care opens it's 10 center in Michigan

A new Sleep Center is now open in Traverse City and accepting patients for over night and daytime sleep diagnostic and treatment studies.  Life Care Sleep and Health Center is a privately owned company with independent and hospital affiliated sleep centers across Michigan. Their centers now total ten with Traverse City and Cheboygan being the most recent additions to this rapidly growing company.  Based in Lansing and started in 1996, owners Lori and Barry Gaukel are truly passionate about the sleep industry. Lori has been in the sleep industry for over 20 years as a Licensed Respiratory Therapist as well Registered Sleep Technologist.  Life Care Sleep and Health Centers has made it their goal to help any and all get a good night sleep.  Life Care realizes that sleep is one of the most important things we can do for our personal health and well being.

 

Community education regarding sleep disorders and its causes is the driving force behind Life Care Sleep and Health Center staff.  Helping people not only get a good night sleep but to also be more productive in all areas of their lives is the biggest priority for our company. The newest addition to the Life Care family will also be outfitted  in the near future with the ability to provide not only sleep testing but everything needed not only too assist in achieving a good night of sleep but waking up refreshed, and ready to face the day.

 

Life Care Sleep and Health Center has 4 (American Academy of Sleep Medicine) accredited centers across Michigan.  We are currently in the process of accrediting the Traverse Center as well. As knowledge about sleep disorders spreads, community education is of the utmost importance, as what you learn today may save your life tomorrow.  Life Care is a six suite center offering a bed and breakfast type setting with private suites and restrooms for all patients. Life Care invites everyone to stop by or attend our ribbon cutting ceremony April 17th at 4:30 pm for a tour and to learn more about how to get a good night sleep.
