Get Involved - Lunch & Learn Series
The Lunch & Learn series consists of monthly one-hour lunch sessions featuring a presentation on professional development, educational growth, personal development and/or community involvement. These sessions occur the second Tuesday of every month.
Your company can gain valuable exposure and build
relationships with a group of highly engaged local young professionals by supporting a Lunch & Learn event. There are three ways you can get involved:
Become a presenter: Share your knowledge and expertise with the members of Young Professionals by giving a 15-20 minute presentation on a topic in one of the following four areas: Professional Development, Educational Growth, Personal Development or Community Involvement. First preference will be given to proposals submitted by members of Young Professionals (ages 21-40); however, it is not a requirement that speakers belong to the group or fall within this age range. For presentation guidelines and proposal submission instructions, click here.
Become a sponsor: Lunch & Learn sponsors are heavily promoted in a wide variety of Chamber communications, including the Chamber website, Chamber Weekly E-News, Young Professionals message board, Young Professionals group e-mails, and more. Exclusive sponsorship for a Lunch & Learn event in 2008 costs just $1,000. To review a sample sponsorship contract, click here. To become a Lunch & Learn sponsor, contact Beth Milligan at beth@tcchamber.org.
Provide a venue: Do you have a meeting space, conference room or other venue suitable for hosting 100+ participants? Gain valuable exposure for your business by providing a location for an hour-long Lunch & Learn event. To host an upcoming Lunch & Learn session, contact Beth Milligan at beth@tcchamber.org.
