About Young Professionals

The Young Professionals program was created by the Chamber to empower and activate young professionals ages 21-40 in the Grand Traverse region by providing a dynamic environment for networking and social and professional development. The program has four primary objectives:

  • Create a network of young professionals
  • Provide regularly scheduled events
  • Provide development opportunities for young professionals
  • Provide connection to community and volunteer opportunities

Young Professionals held its official kick-off event on March 26, 2008 at Wilderness Crossing. The group currently has over 780 members. There is currently no cost to become a member of Young Professionals, though a minimal membership fee will be introduced in the spring of 2009.
