The Chamber is excited to announce a new member benefit to you – an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). We are bringing this new and important benefit to your business in partnership with Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services. As a Chamber member, you are eligible for these services at a very low cost. This substantial discount is one of the many benefits of Chamber membership.

 Employee Assistant Program

Nothing affects profitability more than the health and happiness of workers. A troubled employee is a distracted worker. Workers are the backbone of every organization. When they struggle with issues such as depression, substance abuse, trouble at home, grief, loss, or other emotional challenges, productivity on the job site suffers.

Employers can take a proactive approach through an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This confidential service allows an employee to get help quickly, identify the problem and work toward resolution. 

Pine Rest is excited to provide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to members of the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce. Now, Chamber members have direct access to EAP services offered by the largest private behavioral health provider in the state.

When an organization enlists in the Pine Rest EAP, they also have access to productivity seminars and seasoned guidance for eliminating barriers to high performance.

How does the Pine Rest Employee Assistance Program work?

When an employer enrolls in the EAP through the Chamber, all employees become eligible to receive three confidential counseling/assessment sessions with a Pine Rest clinician. The employee simply calls Pine Rest directly and sets up an appointment. Complete confidentiality is maintained, so the employee has no fear that a “call for help” will appear in their personnel record. Generally, up to three sessions will enable the employee to either resolve the issue or decide on longer term treatment.

Fees for Chamber Members: 

$100 enrollment fee per organization. 

Per employee fee varies depending on the number of employees enrolled. Individual counseling, psychiatric evaluation, psychological testing and other services are available under a reasonable fee structure.

What does the employer get?

• Prompt help for troubled employees -available 24/7
• Up to three diagnostic/therapeutic sessions per employee and immediate family members in their household, per issue
• Two customized Peak Productivity seminars
• On site EAP orientation promotional literature for employees
• Assistance with work-site issues
