2010 Small Business Celebration Candidates' Showcase

An estimated crowd of more than 600 enjoyed the Chamber’s 2010 Small Business Celebration Candidates’ Showcase on Thursday, April 15 at Northwestern Michigan College’s Hagerty Center.

The Chamber staff was blown away by the candidates’ booths, the size of the crowd, the enthusiasm of all, and the entrepreneurial spirit of our area. Even more so than our very successful celebrations in past years, we do not envy the judges, given the strength of this year’s pool of candidates.

That unenviable task will take the next step this week, when the Top-10 candidates for the Chamber’s 2010 Small Business of Year are announced at a press conference on Thursday, April 22 at 11 a.m. at Hagerty’s offices on Cass Street.

Each business involved should be proud of its accomplishments and to be in such a distinguished and exclusive group. Congratulations and thank you for your role in making the Traverse City area on of Michigan’s “bright spots” for business success.
